Dr. Mel Brown has served as Senior Pastor of the Edgewood Baptist Church since 1968. Dr. Brown has also served as coordinator and special instructor at the Quad Cities extension of Moody Bible Institute for fifteen years, and special speaker for numerous Christian organizations. The recipient of many academic and professional recognition's and awards, he has an earned doctorate in counseling psychology, and two theological degrees. He and his wife, Barbara, are the parents of 3 grown children.
