Operation Christmas Child 2025

At Edgewood, we’re sharing authentic love and being disciples who make disciples by spreading good news and great joy by once again partnering with Operation Christmas Child. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is two-fold: To provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts (toys, school supplies, and essential toiletries) and to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ at festive outreach events where children are surprised with these shoebox gifts.
Each box will go to a child who has never before received such a gift, and has likely never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The project delivers not only joy, but also gives a tangible expression of God’s love. Jesus authentically loved all people and we will too.
To REALLY make your gift shoebox shine, consider these guidelines:
- FUN: Include a "WOW" item.
- FULL: Pack it to the brim!
- PERSONALIZED: Add a personal note and photo.

Empty boxes are available now at the Operation Christmas Child table in the church lobby. Simply fill and return to Edgewood by November 23rd. Get those boxes and start packing!
