A Personal Word for You
People often struggle with guilt and a concern about their relationship with God. If you are wondering how to gain inner peace and satisfaction, please consider these thoughts.
Good News: God loves you and desires to have an eternal, personal relationship with you. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
The Problem: Sin (living independently of God's wishes) creates personal guilt and a barrier between God and Man. When left unattended, sin brings unhappiness and eternal separation . "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
The Solution: Jesus Christ became the mediator between God and man and wants to deliver you from sin's consequences. "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit." I Peter 3:18 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Personal Response: Turn from your sin to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him as your personal Savior. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
The Result: You will have peace and an eternal relationship with God as His child. "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:26 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
If you sense this as a need in your life, will you pray right now and by faith ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Savior? " For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
